Individual Therapy

is therapy right for me?

Deciding if therapy is right for you involves evaluating your current needs, challenges, and goals. Here are some questions and considerations to help you determine if therapy might be a good fit:

  1. Emotional or psychological struggles: Are you feeling overwhelmed by emotions like sadness, anxiety, or anger that are affecting your daily life? Do you find yourself struggling with ongoing issues such as depression, anxiety, or trauma that haven’t improved over time?

  2. Relationship difficulties: Are you having difficulty communicating effectively with a partner, family member, or friend? Do you experience recurring conflicts or challenges in your relationships that you can’t seem to resolve on your own?

  3. Self-improvement goals: Are you interested in personal growth and understanding yourself, your identity, your values, and your goals better? Do you want to make changes in your behavior, such as overcoming unhealthy habits or improving your coping strategies?

  4. Coping with life transitions: Are you going through significant life changes, such as a career shift, relationship changes, or loss, and need support navigating these transitions?

  5. Feeling stuck: Do you feel stuck in your current situation or patterns, and have you tried other strategies without success?

  6. Desire for understanding: Are you interested in exploring past experiences or traumas that might be influencing your current thoughts and behaviors?

  7. Emotional well-being: Do you feel that your emotional or mental well-being could benefit from structured support and professional insight?

Panic attacks seem to come out of nowhere. You’re on the floor, not able to move, breathe, or think. The world feels like it’s crushing down on you, and you’re paralyzed. Weeks pass where you can’t find the energy or motivation to get out of bed, shower, eat, clean, or talk to people.

Society tells you that you should be stable in your career, have a white picket fence, and a happy family, but none of that resonates with you. You’re left feeling alone, fucked up, and like there’s no where you belong.

You are desperate to feel better but you question if it’s even possible. You just don’t want to feel so alone or weird or screwed up. Getting through a day without breaking down or avoiding the world sounds so damn nice. You want to feel badass enough to be yourself and go after a life you're proud of.

Guys, life isn't easy. We're constantly being told what we should be, how we're failing, why we're not where we want to be, and blah, blah, blah. Negativity surrounds us and can absolutely overwhelm us. This is where therapy changes things. I want you to have the skills to get through life without constantly feeling like shit. I don't want you to feel alone because you're not.

Let's weather all seasons together.
