how it all started
Driven by a passion for helping others discover their inner strength and potential, Elise, armed with a background in therapy and marketing, envisioned a space where the therapeutic tools she had mastered could extend beyond the four walls of an office, reaching people in the heart of nature's embrace. Thus, the initial concept of Pinewood was born—an innovative company designed to weave the insight of therapy, the empowerment of coaching, and the transformative magic of retreats into a tapestry of personal growth.
It wasn't until Elise met Aaron that the vision of Pinewood strengthened its roots. Aaron, with a beautifully creative mind and a shared love for the outdoors, dreamed of a space where he could live a simpler and more intentional life and share his slice of serenity and peace with others.
Together, Elise and Aaron have cultivated a vision for Pinewood that is centered around a nature resort in the woods—a haven where individuals can explore the depths of their potential, disconnect from the intensity and stress of everyday life, and reconnect with themselves and those they love.
Elise and Aaron, and of course the pups, are currently exploring the PNW trying to find the perfect location for the resort. In the meantime, therapy and coaching are currently offered virtually, and retreats are held at beautiful resorts around the US.
And so, the tale of Pinewood continues to unfold—a story of growth, empowerment, and the belief that, in the heart of the pinewoods, everyone has the potential to discover the greatness that lies within.
what's with all the pine trees?
Pine trees are evergreen, meaning that they stay green and keep their leaves or needles throughout all four seasons. They're hardy despite harsh conditions. Kind of like you!
